speaking of personalities - i hadn't seen apostle birds before... very engaging to watch their interactions with each other, and the galahs.

Beautiful Birds, beautiful post.
The Apostle Birds are my friends. I met the tribe of twelve at Mootwingee, and they flocked in welcome greeting when I arrived at the park. I was overwhelmed by their attention and we shared water and chopped apple, and humourous exchange.
We camped together for 2 days, and their friends (red eye guardians)...they loved having people to be there and exchanged merrily for a couple of days.
These are extraorninary creatures or features of our natural world.
